Glasslock vs Pyrex: the same glass, two very different lids

The verdict
The glass: a draw
Both makers say tempered glass. Glasslock: "containers itself are made of tempered glass" from silica, soda ash and limestone. Pyrex: "durable high-quality tempered glass". Both are microwave, freezer and dishwasher rated. Both resist stains and odors the way glass does. The oven is the one place they diverge on paper: Glasslock's oven series carries a rating (to 230°C, base only, marked OVEN SAFE) while the Simply Store set's page makes no oven statement at all. Pyrex bakeware is a different product line with its own rules; the storage set doesn't inherit them. If the oven matters, Glasslock or Snapware, whose page says the glass can go in a preheated oven.
The lids: not a draw
Glasslock: polypropylene lid, four locking tabs, a removable silicone gasket. The distributor FAQ calls the seal airtight and leak-proof; the US page publishes the set contents and little else, and says gaskets aren't sold separately. Lid off for the microwave, never in the oven.
Pyrex Simply Store: BPA-free plastic lid, press-on, described as airtight. Top-rack dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe. No latch, no gasket described. It seals a fridge container perfectly well and it is not a lid to trust with rice and sauce on its side in a backpack — the maker's choice of "airtight" over "leak-proof" is the honest tell.
Snapware (Pyrex glass): "airtight, leak-proof lids with 4 locking tabs", a write-and-erase label, unlatched for the microwave, lids never in the oven. Functionally Glasslock's lid on Pyrex's glass, with a lifetime warranty on the lid — which is the part that fails.
Warranty and where it's made
Pyrex publishes a 2-year limited warranty covering both glass and lids on Simply Store; Snapware publishes a 2-year glass warranty and a lifetime lid warranty; Glasslock's US page publishes no warranty terms we could find. Glasslock is "made and assembled in S. Korea"; Pyrex's set page doesn't state an origin. For a set whose glass will outlast three lids, the lid policy is the number to read. Is Glasslock oven safe?
The oven series is, to 230°C (446°F) per the distributor FAQ, base only — look for OVEN SAFE on the bottom. The lid never goes in the oven.
Is Pyrex Simply Store oven safe?
The set's page makes no oven statement; it rates the glass for microwave, freezer and dishwasher. Snapware's Pyrex-glass set does state preheated-oven use for the glass.
Are Glasslock lids replaceable?
The US site says gaskets aren't available as a separate part at this time. Snapware's lids carry a lifetime warranty instead.
Which is better for the freezer?
Both are rated freezer-safe. Glasslock's gasket holds a seal cold; Pyrex's press-on lid can pop as the food expands, which is one more reason to leave headroom.
