Who we are

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are used, including clicks on affiliate buttons (recorded as an event with the product and the page, not with who you are). Google's processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can block analytics with a browser setting or extension and the site works the same.
• The contact form. Your name, email address and message are sent to us by email so we can reply. We keep the message as long as the correspondence is useful and don't add you to any list.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary request logs (IP address, page, time) for security and reliability, retained per the provider's policy.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no comments.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone for marketing.
• We do not run third-party advertising on the site.

Affiliate links

Links marked "Check price on Amazon" (and other commercial links) route through this site to the retailer with our affiliate tag. Once you leave, the retailer's privacy policy applies; Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. How the links work is on the affiliate disclosure.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its cookies to distinguish visits. Retailers you click through to set their own.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights and requests

To ask what we hold about you (usually: a contact-form email, if you sent one), to have it deleted, or to raise any privacy concern, write to mike@blackironathletics.com. Residents of California and other jurisdictions with privacy laws have the rights those laws grant; the request route is the same.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.
