What this site is
Meal & Macro, published by Iron Mako Media, is an editorial publication about meal-prep gear. It is information, not professional advice of any kind — not nutritional, medical, dietary or safety advice. Food safety figures are quoted from the USDA and FDA pages linked on each page and are not a substitute for those agencies' guidance or for common sense in your own kitchen.
Accuracy and change
Product specifications are quoted from manufacturers' (or, where labeled, retailers') pages as they read on the date checked, and are linked so you can verify them. Makers change products, pages and warranties without telling us. Scores are our editorial judgments from that documented research, not test results — we have not used or tested the products, and we say so on every page. Check the maker's current page and the retailer's listing before you buy; if we've got something wrong, tell us.
Prices and availability
We don't write prices into articles. Any price shown is retrieved from the retailer's data and dated; the price at the retailer at the moment of purchase is the one that applies. We are not a seller and have no part in any transaction, shipping, return or warranty claim.
