What a motor buys you
Not shaking. That's it, and it's worth a lot to two people: the one mixing in a car at a stoplight, and the one mixing at a desk who doesn't want to look like they're mixing. PROMiXX also argues that a blunt X-Blade "eliminates the mess that wire balls leave behind", which is a cleaning argument as much as a mixing one. What a motor doesn't buy you is a better mix on whey — every manual bottle on the overall ranking mixes whey fine — and it costs you three things: fill, washing, and a charge.
The working fill
That is the whole difference between first and second on this page. The PROMiXX's pod, leak-proof guarantee and 60-mixes-per-charge are real advantages; the 12–14 oz fill limits it to single scoops.
Washing a bottle with a battery in it
VOLTRX: remove the base, put the cup in the dishwasher, and the base "should never be placed in the dishwasher" — it's IPX5, so it rinses. PROMiXX: "not dishwasher safe — hand wash only", whole bottle. Neither is a hardship for a bottle rinsed within the hour; both are a problem for the bottle left in a gym bag until Thursday. Battery: VOLTRX prints a 1000 mAh cell, up to two weeks at three uses a day, and a 2-hour USB-C charge. PROMiXX prints USB-C and up to 60 mixes per full charge. Both charge from the same cable as your phone.
On the seal: PROMiXX prints "Guaranteed" leak-proof; the VOLTRX page we read made no leak-proof claim, which costs it on the seal metric and is worth knowing if the bottle rides in a bag.

Buyer's guide: should you go electric
Yes if you mix somewhere you can't shake, or you've retired a manual bottle because of the smell and want a design without a ball. No if you drink two-scoop shakes (fill limits), if the dishwasher is your only cleaning plan (base is hand wash), or if the bottle's job is a gym bag (the VOLTRX page doesn't claim leak-proof). What we do instead: read the lid, material and care ratings the maker actually publishes and repeat its wording ("leak-proof", "oven safe to 450°F", "top-rack only"), do the container-fit and ice-pack arithmetic from published dimensions and the USDA's numbers, and score every pick on a public rubric for its category that weights the seal, the material and the fit first. Every figure links to where it came from; where the maker's page would not load we cite a retailer and say so.
