What a motor buys you
Not shaking. That's it, and it's worth a lot to two people: the one mixing in a car at a stoplight, and the one mixing at a desk who doesn't want to look like they're mixing. PROMiXX also argues that a blunt X-Blade "eliminates the mess that wire balls leave behind", which is a cleaning argument as much as a mixing one. What a motor doesn't buy you is a better mix on whey — every manual bottle on the overall ranking mixes whey fine — and it costs you three things: fill, washing, and a charge.
The working fill
That is the whole difference between first and second on this page. The PROMiXX's AA cells and self-clean cycle are real advantages; 20 oz of total volume limits it to single scoops.
Washing a bottle with a battery in it
VOLTRX: remove the base, put the cup in the dishwasher, and the base "should never be placed in the dishwasher" — it's IPX5, so it rinses. PROMiXX Original: the motor unit detaches, and the listing's own cleaning instruction is to "add warm water and detergent, turn on, and let your Original electric shaker bottle clean itself"; it publishes no dishwasher rating, so we don't claim one. Neither is a hardship for a bottle rinsed within the hour; both are a problem for the bottle left in a gym bag until Thursday. Battery: VOLTRX prints a 1000 mAh cell, up to two weeks at three uses a day, and a 2-hour USB-C charge. The PROMiXX Original takes "2xAA batteries (not included)". Which you prefer is a genuine toss-up: a cable you already own, or a cell you can replace in a petrol station at 6 a.m.
On the seal: neither page we read makes a leak-proof claim for these two, which costs both on the seal metric and is worth knowing if the bottle rides in a bag. The bottles that do claim it are on the overall shaker ranking.

Buyer's guide: should you go electric
Yes if you mix somewhere you can't shake, or you've retired a manual bottle because of the smell and want a design without a ball. No if you drink two-scoop shakes (fill limits), if the dishwasher is your only cleaning plan (base is hand wash), or if the bottle's job is a gym bag (the VOLTRX page doesn't claim leak-proof). Can you put an electric shaker in the dishwasher?
VOLTRX: the cup, with the base removed; never the base. PROMiXX Original: it publishes no dishwasher rating — the motor detaches and the bottle runs a self-clean cycle instead.
How much can you fill an electric shaker?
VOLTRX says up to 16 oz in its 24 oz cup. PROMiXX publishes no fill figure for the Original's 20 oz cup; leave the vortex room to turn, which in practice means one scoop and about 12 oz of liquid.
